Cell Phone Lot (The Song)

Waiting at the airport cell phone lot is an efficient waste of time. I'm there right now. To kill some of that time I've written a song. I don't have the melody for it just yet, but maybe you can think of something.

Sittin' In The Cell Phone Lot

Sittin' in the morning sun
I'll be sittin' when the evening comes
Watchin' the planes fly in
And I watch'em fly away again

Sittin' in the cell phone lot
Watchin' the cars roll away
I'm just sittin' in the cell phone lot
Wastin' time

I left my home in Dover
Headed for Boston's Back Bay
'Cause I had nothin' to live for
And looks like nothing's gonna come my way

So, I'm just gonna sit in the cell phone lot
Watchin' the planes fly away.

Look like nothing's gonna change
Everything still remains the same
I can't do what security tells me to do
So I guess I'll remain the same

Sittin' here resting my phone
And this loneliness won't leave me alone
It's fifteen miles I roamed
Just to make this lot my home

Now, I'm just gonna sit in the cell phone lot
Watchin' the planes fly away.

(Whistling something here would be good)

*Tip of the hat to Otis Redding
